Police seek missing 15-year old girl

Darya Lending, 15, was last seen Friday, leaving a family residence in Evanston. Her permanent residence is on the 4500 block of N. Francisco in Chicago. 

Lending was last seen wearing a green parka, blue jeans and carrying an orange and black plaid backpack. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 115 lbs, has brown hair, brown eyes and has a fair complexion. She suffers from emotional and behavioral problems and may be visiting the Englewood or Garfield Park areas of Chicago.

Early afternoon crime check

11:12 A.M. - 24xx W. Fullerton - Person wanted at that location. Officer claims call may be bogus, known "wackjob" lives in basement at the address.

11:23 A.M. - 1117 N. Kedzie - Caller's girlfriend is at women's shelter with her children and told him she wants to kill herself. Check on well being.

11:27 A.M. -  2434 N. Western - Caller wants illegal parker moved.

11:27 A.M. - Western and Fullerton - Car accident called in. Officer on scene reports no evidence of accident, has been sitting at location for a while.

11:33  A.M. - 2719 W. Potomac - Caller states male broke into her apartment while she was in it and fled the scene.

11:36 A.M. - 111 N. Kedzie - Theft. Male black, 35, blue hat. Caught stealing and is now trying to leave the store.

11:40  A.M. - North and Western - Auto theft in progress. Caller states offender took off westbound on North with his 2002 dark grey Jeep Cherokee. Offender claimed to be taking car for a testdrive, but took off. Jeep has balloons on it, temporary plates.

10:37 - Kedzie and Carroll - woman down on the street, bleeding. Caller states woman was beaten with a tire iron. Victim is laying in front of a vehicle in the street. Victim is in mid to late twenties.

10:40 - Unit called to 10:37 call is looking for a male black, name is David Crawford and is driving a black Chevy Tahoe.

10:41 - 2016 W. St. Louis - suspicious person in alley

10:55 - Eastbound on Warren from Western - Footchase. black jacket, blue jeans, white shoes.

10:57 - 2251 W. Warren - offender in custody.

11:06 - Western and North. Going south on Western. DUI driver in a red pick up truck

11:07 - Allen and Milwaukee - people in the alley smoking marijuana

9:30 pm - Fire at 20xx N. Campbell - Tenant left dishes in the oven, started a fire.

9:42 - Fire at Ashland and Madison - Trashcan on fire at the vacant KFC lot

9:46 - 2450 N. Milwaukee - Man on floor at corner, asking for assistance, may be intoxicated.

9:47 - Crash at Belmont and Central Park results in vehicle impoundment for a DUI

9:54 - Person with knife at Leavitt and Washington. Six male teens on corner, one has a knife.

9:55 - 1830 N. Fairfield - Check on animal. Caller says neighbor's dog has been out in the cold the past two nights. Dog is crying.

9:59 - 730 N. Throop - Gang disturbance.

10:02 - 625 N. Kedzie - Battery in progress. People fighting in the alley and backyard.

10:08 - 2114 W. Grand - Commercial alarm at CC Building Corporation

10:10 - 1629 N. Central Park - Person with a gun. Male hispanic, red shirt, black jacket,blue jeans. Standing in the gangway, possibly lives at address.

10:12 - Slow down called on the N. Central Park person with gun.

10:13 - Unit calls for backup at 625 N. Kedzie

10:15 - 1433 N. Ashland - Stolen auto found

10:19 - Person wanted in hit and run spotted at CVS at Western and Chicago

10:24 - 2000 N. Humboldt - Fireworks disturbance. Young males exploding m80s in the street

10:27 - 31xx W. Fullerton - Burglary

10:29 - Suspicious persons at Chicago and Throop. 7 Hispanic males looking into parked cars.

10:31 - 26xx W. North - Caller has disturbance with landlord. Claims he has been entering her apartment and stealing money.

10:32 - 18xx N. Humboldt - 16 Year old daughter is missing.

10:46 - Traffic stop at North and Campbell
